Mr. Klauber focuses his practice on the areas of business, real estate, mortgages, leases, contracts, insurance, and commercial litigation. Mr. Klauber has represented a wide variety of clients in various business transactions, and in the preparation of documents necessary to protect his clients from future litigation. He serves as closing agent on real estate sale and purchase transactions, and as legal counsel on business transactions such as the sale and purchase of businesses and business assets, the set-up and classification of new commercial or corporate entities, and the creation and fine-tuning of shareholder agreements for new and existing corporations.
In addition to maintaining a thriving law practice, Mr. Klauber and his wife Debra Klauber (also a prominent Fort Lauderdale appellate attorney) work tirelessly to support the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation, a non-profit, donor-supported organization dedicated to developing the means to control and cure cystic fibrosis, a life-threatening respiratory disease that affects an estimated 1000 new patients each year – most of whom are pre-school age children. In addition to participating in various fundraising events for the CF Foundation, Mr. Klauber is an active supporter of Habitat for Humanity and has been providing legal services and real estate closings to the Broward County branch since 2000.
My Philosophy
“My Philosophy has been the same since the day I graduated law school; break the lawyer stereotypes by doing things differently. I know that there are thousands of lawyers, from large international firms to the solo practitioner. The market for legal services is very competitive, but at the end of the day what counts are the results you obtain and the way you treat the people who put their trust in your skill and ability. I never made the mistake of believing that I could get those results alone. Representing a client is a team effort and that’s why our firm is so proud of the partners, associates and staff that make up our team. We strive for a level playing field among all job classifications; we don’t dwell on ranks or levels of authority. Each member of our firm plays an important role and is equally appreciated and equally heeded. In the end, I believe that the client benefits the most from this approach. From your first visit, you will recognize that atmosphere among our employees, and you will feel more comfortable and at ease about your decision to choose us as your lawyers. I know that you will have great trust in us when you see how much we trust each other.” |

My Philosophy
“Every one of my clients will understand and participate with me in any matter that I handle for them. Dealing with the law can be overwhelming, especially so when facing family law matters or criminal charges. A proper understanding of how and why the process works the way that it does is critical to ensure that the most important decisions are made correctly. I work closely with my clients to provide them with that knowledge and to bring some clarity to the litigation process so they can make well reasoned, cost effective decisions. Listening to my clients’ needs is critical because it is the only way that we can develop a road map and plan of action that ultimately affects the outcome of the case. From experience, I know that a carefully orchestrated plan, including significant input from the client, is the only way to get great results.” |

My Philosophy
“Legal matters can be complex and, often times, confusing to those who don’t deal with them on a daily basis. My main concern is that my clients know what is going on at all times and that they understand, in plain language, what the law says about their particular circumstances. Based on that philosophy, I always consult with my clients in a frank and open manner to provide the legal understanding and guidance they need to make the decisions that affect them. In the law, there can be no shortcuts and even though the right way isn’t always easy, it’s always worth the effort.” |
